At Gordon Dental Implants & Cosmetics we offer comprehensive dental implant care, from implant placement to restorations. Receiving all of your implant care from one office ensures better, more complete care and successful results. But no matter if you’ve had your implants placed by Dr. Gordon himself or another clinician, we are pleased to create and place a custom restoration piece to complete your implant. If you need an implant repair, we can also conveniently correct or replace your restoration right in our office. For some restorations, we partner with the distinguished ROE Dental Laboratory. Each restoration is designed and engineered to your unique parameters and is made of only the highest quality, durable materials.
If you are looking to restore a single tooth, Dr. Gordon can design a custom dental crown to cap your dental implant. He takes the entire implant and surrounding areas into consideration when creating crowns, to ensure they fit perfectly within the space.
A full arch restoration can be either a retrofitted denture that will affix to dental implants, or a full arch zirconia bridge. Zirconia is stronger and more durable than traditional acrylic bridges and will likely never need replacing. Zirconia looks more natural too and won’t stain, chip, or crack.
Dental implant repairs are often needed in the same cases that typical dental repairs are required. While dental implants are placed inside the mouth as a permanent tooth replacement option, they can still chip and crack just like the natural teeth. Injury and trauma to the face or mouth can also cause the need for implant repairs. Dr. Gordon understands that repairs can cause stress, but our team Gordon Dental Implants & Cosmetics is here to help you once again restore the smile that you desire. Our onsite capabilities of fabricating dental implants give us a great advantage over the competition here in Johnson County. Because of our ability to create dental implants on location, implant repairs do not have to be referred outside of our practice.
Dr. Gordon is honored to provide patients with exceptional and revolutionary dental care in Leawood, Kansas, and the surrounding areas. Dental trauma, injury, and decay are the most common causes of tooth loss, affecting millions of Americans each year. Not everyone understands how important it is to replace missing teeth, but it is an essential component of oral health. When empty spaces are left inside the mouth, neighboring teeth and the jawbone are extremely vulnerable to complications. Over time, the empty space will leave the bone unsupported and it will weaken. This weakness can cause further tooth loss to occur, thus beginning a downhill cycle. Dental implant restorations are advanced treatments that not only complete the appearance of your smile, but they also provide the stability that your entire mouth needs.
