Your implant is exposed. This situation, for sure, needs to be addressed as it may not just be a cosmetic issue. An exposed dental implant might be a sign that the implant itself is not secure. After an examination, we can determine the cause of exposure and address any issues with the bone and gums, or if it is purely cosmetic, we can create a crown that covers the implant.
